Making the Famous Tik Tok Feta Pasta

I could not find this recipe at all besides tik tok so I decided to try it for myself!

You're going to want to set your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit to pre-heat first! I would also set a pot of water to heat up on the stove for the pasta.

The first thing I did was to get the tomatoes. I cut some cherry tomatoes in half and then some whole and place it in a large glass container. I also had cloves of garlic as well as pre-chopped garlic. It's up to you but you can put whole cloves and sliced cloves or pre-minced garlic pieces, all of them work!

The next thing I did was to grab the feta and place it in the center of the dish you will be cooking. I recommend using a glass or clay container that works in the oven.

Original: Then I took oregano, salt, and pepper to season the dish. You take a good amount of olive oil. Enough to cover the cheese block as well as the tomatoes and garlic. There should be enough so they have something to simmer in within the oven.

(Optional: add basil leaves for extra flavor!, I also had garlic powder and onion powder and added this as well)

This is also optional but if you cannot find a feta cheese block you can always just use chunks of feta that usually most places sell for salads! I saw feta available at my local Sprouts and Trader Joe's.

The oven should be ready after the prep and all you do is set it in the oven for thirty minutes. I had mine in the oven for a total of thirty-five minutes but this just depends on the power of your oven.

Optional: I decided that I wanted to add some greens to the pasta so I put spinach in one of my dishes and arugula in the other! They cooked really well!

Optional: I also decided to add a meat protein to the dish so I cooked sausage on the side and added it after the feta pasta was finished.

To determine if the feta pasta is done or not, the olive oil that was added to the dish should be bubbling and the tomatoes should look cooked through. I mixed both portions of pasta and it should have a pinkish hue, and the tomatoes should break effortlessly with the feta. You're done! Enjoy your Tik Tok Feta Pasta!
